Once upon a time….. a knight asked a princess,
"My fair lady, would you like to spend the evening with me? Strolling around the enchanted forest and seeping in the cool breeze of the night?"
"Oh, Charming Knight, with pleasure….but please bear in mind that under this magic spell I would need to return before nine…."
"Nine? But, Fair Lady, that is far too early… And may this humble knight enquire why does it have to be so?"
"Well, you know, Dear Knight, how magic spells go…and by the struck of the nine o'clock bell…I will turn into…"
"Rags?"
"Nope, I'm the pumpkin…. I will turn back into the plump round orange pumpkin…."
"Oh…that is interesting…"
And yet the twist is no fairy tales…and lots of everyday tales simply happen.
Fiction, non-fiction, semi-fiction…
And though nobody gets to live happily ever after, well, nobody lives ever after anyway…they live and keep on living…
And what a life!
What a life it is to be able to reflect, and recreate, and discover adventures….
Without dragons, and castles, and princes, and princesses, and knights in shining armor,
And yet as intriguing and challenging and enchanting as any fairy tale could go…
And it is a world on its own, the crossing between life experience and imagination.
And so, let the pumpkin princess starts her journey…
